We will custom build your engine to our proven specification or to your own desired specification, using only the best available components.

We have spent countless hours on the engine dyno and on the race track to build not only a high horse power unit but a very drivable and most importantly a reliable engine for your enjoyment !

Since the beginning of Vintage Racing Services we have built a good relationship with various engine component supplier’s, Qunatum Racing Industries, Joe Gibbs Driven Racing oils, Bryant crankshafts, Carrillo con rods, CP pistons, just to name a few.

We specialise in the following engines...

289 Windsor

We use the new Ford SVO M -6010-BOSS 302 block as a base for your customised engine. We prefer to use our custom built and designed Bryant steel billet crankshaft along with Carrillo conrods and CP custom designed pistons, Vintage Racing Services designed roller cam bearing and roller lifter camshaft, internal or external belt drive, Jesel roller rocker system or customer preference rockers.

VRS designed internal spray bar rocker covers to dramatically reduce engine valve train wear. VRS in house baffled high volume sump.

VRS assembles all their engines using Joe Gibbs assembly greases for optimum performance results. Engine parts are measured to within strict tolerances to ensure performance and longevity. All engines are in house dyno tested using Joe Gibbs Break In oil for proven superior break-in and engine longevity. We have spent an extensive amount of research and development to achieve a high horse power and optimum torque package for your racing pleasure.

VRS has worked with the above suppliers to design and manufacture long wearing high performance components to suit the Australian racing environment in particular the historic categories. For more information or a quote please contact Denis or Craig from our 'contact us' page. We cannot provide an estimate here as pricing is dependent upon $US.

FE Big Block

The grandfather of the racing engines that started it all this 600 plus Hp combined with 550 ft pound of torque will really get you exited. Depending on the racing application we find a block to suit within the rules. For example we have used the legendary Carroll Shelby all alloy engine block, Genesis 427 engine blocks & OE. Winberg custom billet steel crankshaft, like all our other engines, custom Carrillo conrods and matching CP pistons.

Vintage Racing Services designed roller cam bearing and roller lifter camshaft, internal or external belt drive, Jesel roller rocker system or customer preference rockers. Billet spray bar rocker covers to dramatically reduce engine valve train wear.
